Role Overview: As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing top talent to placing candidates with our clients. You will work closely with both businesses and job seekers, acting as a key liaison to ensure successful matches. This is a target-driven role that offers excellent opportunities for career development and uncapped commission.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, while proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
2. Candidate Sourcing: Identify, screen, and interview high-quality candidates using a variety of platforms, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
3. End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, presenting suitable candidates to clients, and coordinating interviews.
4. Market Research: Stay up to date with market trends, salary benchmarks, and the latest recruitment best practices within your sector.
5. Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand your client and candidate base.
6. Sales & Business Development: Cold-calling potential clients, pitching recruitment services, and negotiating terms of business to win new accounts.
7. Consultative Approach: Provide consultative advice to both clients and candidates on the job market, hiring trends, and career development.
8. Meet Targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets through successful placements and client wins.
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Experience: Previous experience in recruitment or sales, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
2. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage clients and candidates confidently.
3. Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
4. Resilience: Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle rejections with a positive attitude.
5. Self-Motivation: Highly driven and self-motivated, with a desire to exceed targets and earn significant commission.
6. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, candidates, and clients simultaneously.
7. Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with recruitment software, CRM systems, and social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) for candidate sourcing.
8. Local Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Manchester job market and key industries.
