This vital role supports the Chair in the smooth functioning of the Management Committee and oversees the governance of the charity, including monitoring its policies to ensure they are up to date. What difference will you make? In the role as Honorary Secretary, you will oversee the governance needs of the charity. This will enable IDGN to continue to deliver the lifeline services we offer to older and vulnerable people of Ilkley and the surrounding area. What are we looking for? Strong administrative, organisational, communication and IT skills to help keep the group running smoothly (essential) Experience as a company secretary, trustee secretary or similar role (including minute taking and meeting organisation) (essential) Experience writing and reviewing policies (desirable) Previous trustee experience (desirable) Excellent team working skills Passion for the charity's mission Positive attitude; making things happen in your local community What will you be doing?
