The Clients Team: The Clients Team are a group of skilled professionals that bring together knowledge of client relationships and business development, pitches & proposals, digital marketing, brand and design, marketing, and external and internal communications. We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Advisor to join our Marketing and BD team within our Clients Team in the London office on a permanent basis. Reporting Senior BD Advisor the Events Advisor will be responsible for Managing a busy external events programme for the firm. The role involves managing events across all our locations (primarily in London), and includes events such as seminars, panel sessions, dinners and drinks receptions. The firm also hols webinars and management of these would also be welcomed where possible (especially advising on process and best practice). The Events Advisor will be responsible for: Managing our external events programme: Work with our Clients Director and the wider BD team to plan out a programme of events for Frontier Be responsible for running our external events programme, ensuring event plans are in place, responsibilities and timelines are actioned and our events are as evenly spread as possible throughout the year Ensure constant improvement and development of the management of events, responding to internal and external feedback Run our external events: Liaise with economists and the BD team to develop event briefs and plans Manage the implementation of events liaising with external suppliers and speakers where needed Manage the event budgets and ensure events run to budget Work with our Communications team and our CRM provider to manage data required for events, the mailing and the mailing process Ensure our events have people 'on the ground' to assist where necessary Attend events to manage the on-day activities required (occasionally outside of the UK) Hold event debriefs to ensure a culture of continuous improvement Client and contact data: Be a promoter of good data governance and upkeep Be aware of, and ensure that Information Governance guidelines with regards to client and contact data are followed Additional responsibilities: Overseeing the work of others in the team to support events (i.e. the creation of designs for events and badges) To advise our internal events team on the management of key internal events (primarily our summer and winter parties) and support where possible Essential requirements: Great organisational skills - able to organise a busy and varied workload, prioritise effectively and keep stakeholders updated as appropriate Excellent project management skills - ensuring clear event plans are in place, are well communicated, have clear responsibilities allocated and are followed by the team Ability to have challenging conversations with stakeholders to ensure we achieve the best results possible Ability to implement a continual improvement process, learning from past events, holding event debriefs that deliver an honest assessment and implementing actions to develop improvements for future events Ability to manage and communicate effectively with speakers from outside our organisation Experience of managing the contracting process with external venues, ensuring best value for money Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) Excellent attention to detail Interest to develop/improve our events management processes Strong MS Word and MS PowerPoint skills Interest to develop industry knowledge Customer- and service-orientated Strong team player with a flexible, proactive and professional attitude Confident to challenge and share ideas What we offer In addition to a stimulating and varied role, we offer numerous benefits to support you inside and outside of work.
