We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Employment Paralegal to join their team and contribute to the growth of their practice. Role Overview: As an Employment Paralegal, you will work closely with our experienced Employment Law team, supporting them in providing expert legal advice and assistance to both individuals and businesses on a range of employment law matters. This is a hybrid position, combining flexible working from home with office-based collaboration in Belfast. Key Responsibilities: Assist with preparing and drafting legal documents, including employment contracts, settlement agreements, and policies. Provide support in managing and progressing employment law cases, including handling pre-litigation matters and supporting the litigation process. Conduct legal research on employment law issues, including recent case law and statutory developments. Assist in the preparation of tribunals, hearings, and court submissions. Liaise with clients, managing their expectations and keeping them informed on case progress. Maintain accurate records and case files in line with firm policies and procedures. Support the team with administrative duties such as filing, document management, and correspondence. Assist with internal and external compliance matters, ensuring adherence to legal regulations. Contribute to the ongoing development of employment law knowledge within the firm. What You'll need: A minimum of 1 years experience as an Employment Paralegal A strong understanding of employment law, with the ability to apply legal principles to practical situations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently. A positive, team-oriented attitude, with a willingness to contribute to a collaborative work environment.
