Jenson Fisher, have been engaged by a growing organisation based in Clackmannanshire to recruit a Payroll Supervisor on a full-time permanent basis. This role would suit an experienced Payroll candidate who wants to progress their career and move into a Supervisory/Management role. This is a full-time permanent role, however, the client will consider a part-time candidate (4 days as well).
The main duties:
- Manage and lead a small team of 2 payroll Administrators
- Process end-to-end payroll for monthly, weekly, commissioned staff
- Meet all submission deadlines
- Ensure RTI, AE pension, tax & NI regulations are adhered to
- A proactive approach to identifying the detail and impact of new legislation on payroll
- Develop systems to enhance the efficiency/take advantage of opportunities for the payroll function
- Adherence to processes, procedure and controls
- Dealing with queries
- Collaborate with the HR and Finance teams
The main requirements:
- Strong payroll and up to date statutory knowledge
- Previous experience of managing a payroll department
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient user of payroll systems and Excel
- A confidence to challenge assumptions and offer solutions
- A can-do attitude
- Efficient, methodical, detailed, a good time manager
