This niche business addresses all aspects of the restoration and repair processes on a range of makes and models, all completed in-house at their impressive premises, from mechanical, welding fabrication, bodywork, electrical and rebuilding vehicles.
Their business is extremely customer centric and delivering outstanding levels of customer service/customer care is also at the heart of everything they do, so we are looking for an experienced individual, with a mature approach, outstanding communication skills, who can confidently liaise with their often high net worth clients, on a day to day basis.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for vehicle maintenance and repair. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are in optimal working condition. Your expertise will contribute to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose mechanical issues in vehicles using schematics and diagnostic tools such as Xentry diagnostics.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.
* Full service experience with Mercedes Benz 2024 to 1945.
* Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs.
* Conduct equipment repairs using hand tools and power tools effectively.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
* Assist with heavy lifting when required during the repair process.
* Provide excellent customer service by clearly communicating repair needs and options to clients.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in vehicle technology.
Skills
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle systems.
* Working on a variety of different vehicles from 1920's to 2024.
* Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for vehicle repair tasks.
* Experience with welding techniques is an advantage.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective diagnostics.
* Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
* Capability to perform heavy lifting as part of the repair process.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to work effectively in a team.
