Job Description
Job purpose:
The Assistant Marketing Manager will be passionate about all functions of communications and marketing and will help support the delivery of effective communications and marketing activities across a number of our clients.
You will assist with developing digital marketing campaigns, updating social media channels, websites and writing engaging content for all platforms including, online, offline and print.
You will also assist in creating Marketing and Sales qualified leads for the Sales team to pursue further.
Role and Responsibilities (this is a broad but not exhaustive list)
As a ‘go to’ person, providing day to day support to the leadership team in relation to
Content Creation
● Creating first draft documents and supporting the creation of specific content for pitch and credential documents, both formal and informal, where appropriate
● Creating presentations
● Assisting in creating engaging content for our digital channels including their social media accounts, website and other relevant platforms.
● Supporting our Visual Arts team across various platforms including creating and editing of engaging video content that can be used across a variety of platforms.
● Creating brochures, value propositions slides, Go To Market material, and other client facing materials
Digital Marketing
● Supporting marketing activities such as Search Engine Optimisation, social media posts etc.
Reporting
● Measuring and evaluating the success of PR and marketing activities
● Reporting on the effectiveness of all campaigns using relevant monitoring tools and analytics and insight improving relevant campaigns and the channels used.
Business Development
● Have a high level understanding of value propositions, being able to identify client needs and propose specific value propositions
● Assisting sales team in cold calling to generate leads
Events
● Supporting the planning and end to end delivery of a variety of targeted events, such as seminars, workshops, receptions and other client hospitality from brief stage through to the live event.
● Using Charles Russell Speechlys CRM tool, InterAction, to create, maintain and refine shared targets and other Marketing lists.
Digital
● Producing external newsletters, including researching and writing articles
● Supporting the maintenance and updating of the Firms website
● Helping the Senior Executive to gather and report on relevant web analytics.
● Working with the marketing communications team, helping in the delivery of social and other digital media
Technical Skills
● Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
● Some knowledge of or exposure to content creation and management systems is desirable but not essential (e.g. Figma, Wordpress)
● Experience in or knowledge of the IT Consulting and Services industry
Person Specification
● Degree or further education qualification in Marketing, Communications or other relevant subjects
● Completed or be studying a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) subject, or have relevant software development / technical experience
● Confident and good personal presentation
● A flexible approach with regard to daily tasks and working hours
● Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
● A willingness to learn and take on board different kinds of tasks.

● Able to deal effectively with conflicting requirements
● Able to adapt and respond at short notice
● Confident telephone manners
● Able to work from Maidenhead office all 5 days a week
Desirable: Some experience of Google products such as Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager and/or Data Studio would be beneficial. Some experience of Adobe design software packages and/or Canva.
