Management Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our experienced and high-performing team in Droitwich, Worcestershire. The role involves supporting various cost centres, managing costs, and driving efficiencies through financial reporting, analysis, and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities
1. Update and maintain sales adjustments, discounts, and rebates; analyze and forecast sales adjustments by customer.
2. Validate customer audit claims and disputes; liaise with sales, finance, and external customers to resolve queries.
3. Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely and valid processing of sales adjustment claims.
4. Prepare and analyze expenditure for cost centres, perform month-end duties including journals and reconciliations, and report to stakeholders.
5. Manage budgeting and forecasting for your cost centres.
6. Approve expenditure within the cost centre.
7. Support the FD and finance team in ad-hoc projects and tasks.
Skills/Experience
1. Part Qualified or Qualified ACA/CIMA.
2. Proven achievement in management accounts.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
4. Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
6. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
8. Experience with ERP systems.
9. Self-motivated and confident.
