Part of the Stonewater Group, Mount Green Housing Association meets people’s housing needs across Surrey and North Sussex through the delivery of a local service to its residents.
Here at Mount Green, we are now seeking a Multi-Trades Operative – someone to be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance, responsive repairs, void works & property MOTs in customers’ homes, ensuring all assigned works are carried out in an efficient way and completed within required timeframes to a high standard.
You’ll maintain and regularly replenish stock of materials including recording usage on PDA, specify and order specialist materials where required to complete tasks, whilst minimising wastage and ensuring all goods received notes and paperwork are returned to the relevant admin team.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have substantial experience in the building industry to acquire the skills and techniques of your specialised trade and skills.
* Be City and Guilds qualified up to (NVQ level 3) or relevant experience in one trade and others.
* Have working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety Legislation.
* Be able to prioritise workloads.
* Be a good timekeeper with organisation and planning skills including strategic thinking and priority setting.
* Have self-motivation skills and be a good team player.
* Be able to make sound judgements and decisions in line with the company's guidelines and objectives.
* Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
You are required to have a Full Driving licence (for the appropriate vehicle) as you are required to drive a Stonewater vehicle.
