Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of highways and report any issues.
Perform repairs and maintenance on roads, pavements, and turf.
Assist with the installation and maintenance of road signage and barriers.
Ensure compliance with traffic management practices while working on-site.
Collaborate with team members to efficiently execute maintenance tasks.
Participate in emergency response activities as required, including snow clearing and accident response.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure safety standards are met.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Experience in road maintenance or construction is preferred.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to highway work.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, displaying initiative.
Good physical fitness and capability to perform manual tasks and heavy lifting.
Basic knowledge of road traffic laws and guidelines is beneficial.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 08:00
End Time: 16:00
Pay Per Hour: £12.18
Location: Monmouthshire, Wales
