MGallery – Boutique hotels with one-of-a-kind designs (accor.com) A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A STORE PERSON AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL & SPA MGALLERY What you'll be doing When you enter our hotel you will be “wowed” and we aspire for our guests to be bowled over too by this memorable visual impact of our rooms and public areas. Our Heartists® take great pride in our product. The Store Person role is pivotal in supplying every department with stock and produce. The role also takes ownership for the maintenance and cleanliness of delivery areas, refuse collection areas and storage facilities. Accountability, accuracy, cleanliness and attention to detail are key in ensuring that all departments can provide a luxury service to our guests and that the logistics are taken care of behind the scenes. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements A positive can do attitude, a driven and proactive approach. The passion to stand out and be proud of our hotel standards and procedures. Ability to log and track all incoming and outgoing products on our online procurement system. Meticulous and methodical approach to work, checking invoices and delivery notes. Highlighting delivery and measurement errors with suppliers and affected departments. Excellent cleanliness standards and attention to detail. Maintaining all goods in and out areas and adherence to cleaning schedules. Other duties include; Stock transportation, manual handling and storage. Organisation and self prioritisation of duties and time schedules. Adherence to critical control points and food hygiene requirements. To work positively and collaboratively with all departments and Heartists®. Strong security presence and full compliance with control procedures. To support Kitchen Porters, Chefs and other departments when required.
