Role Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our client’s team. In this role, you’ll make a significant impact by providing professional advice to employees and leading the Occupational Health team, including supporting OH Technicians and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You'll be a key part of maintaining a healthy and supportive working environment. This is a full-time position, with a hybrid working arrangement. You will work 2-3 days a week on-site in Horsham, and the remaining 2-3 days will be home-based. Key Responsibilities: Assess new clients presenting to Occupational Health, either in person or via written referral, and initiate appropriate case management. Evaluate clients' fitness to work for their designated job roles in line with company policies and guidelines, issuing fitness certificates as required. Provide support and guidance to the OH team, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and managing the team's performance. Respond to client and manager requests for advice on workplace health-related issues, including the working environment. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with departmental protocols. Ensure valid and up-to-date NMC registration, adhering to professional standards and guidelines for clinical supervision and practice. Foster an environment of equality, respect, and dignity, free from workplace harassment and bullying. Build and maintain strong relationships with client managers, external partners, and other professionals. Manage Occupational Health equipment and resources, ensuring proper maintenance and staff coverage, in partnership with the Head of Nursing. Conduct regular appraisals for Occupational Health employees, identifying training and development needs to support their professional growth. Skills & Qualifications: Registered Nurse (Part 1). Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree/Diploma). Proficient in IT and technology. Strong communicator with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders. Proven managerial experience with clear evidence of leadership. Demonstrates a strong understanding of professional accountability and scope of practice. Approachable, friendly, and able to build effective working relationships within a multidisciplinary team. Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Occupational Health.
