About the role:
• You will be responsible for ensuring existing relationships are renewed and long-term customer relationships are maintained, effectively generating overall sales growth by retention, cross-sales, and referrals.
• From handling day to day enquiries, renewal preparation, cross-selling through to negotiating new policies to existing clients as their businesses change & grow, asking for referrals and working with our service and claims advisers to ensure a smooth customer journey and taking payments, the role provides you with incredible variety with the opportunity to understand how all areas of the business work.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work compliantly with attention to detail in a regulated environment.
• You will have a structured induction and training programme with high levels of support from the team, so the desire and drive to develop as well as building on your natural strengths is a must.
• Develop your knowledge, expertise and utilize the extensive training support and resources available both within the Agency and the wider NFU Mutual connections to develop an in-depth understanding of our sectors.
About you:
• A person with real drive, energy, and enthusiasm.
• A confident individual who can work well in a team, highly motivated with a positive mentality and a good team player.
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills & relationship building abilities with the ability to influence decision makers at all levels of business, can work well within a team environment but can also focus on their own and team targets.
• Can demonstrate the drive, energy, and enthusiasm required to provide fantastic customer experience.
• Experience of and an understanding of insurance or financial services is preferable, but not essential.
• Strong IT literacy.
• Minimum of Grade C /Grade 4 in GCSE Maths & English.
• Full driving licence and access to your own car for customer visits.
• Experience of or an understanding of farming terminology preferable, but not essential.
