Quarriers are seeking a Project Manager to join our Glasgow Stopover Youth Homelessness Service. Your new opportunity
We are currently recruiting a Project Manager to join and lead our Stopover Service. The service delivers care to young adults from the age of 16 to 24 within our supported accommodation in Pollockshields and delivers person centered care to individuals who strive to achieve personal goals and ambitions. ‘The Promise’ is that Scotland’s children will grow up loved, safe and respected
As the Project Manager you will be responsible for leading the Stopover team and managing 14 young people who use our supported accommodation, ensuring contractual compliance with the Local Authority as well the terms of our Care Inspectorate Registration are met. You will work closely with the Operational Manager, Deputy Manager and Team Leaders to ensure support staff are well equipped to deliver positive outcomes and quality care to each person supported.
The people we support have a range of difference needs, therefore we are looking for a passionate driven person who thrives in an empowering person-centered environment where each young person's voice is heard and views taken seriously to enable them to live happy lives day to day.
Working pattern: This is a full time, permanent contract working 37 hours per week 5 days over 7. In addition, there will be on-call duties on a rotational basis. There will be an opportunity to work from home time to time in line with our agile working policy and service delivery needs.
What you will need to bring to the role
• SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (Leadership & Management)
• Experience in managing a team of social care professionals.
• Ability to prioritise and manage workloads to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to develop and build long-lasting relationships.
• Drive and determination to deliver and support a service who supports adult independence living.
• Driving licence is essential and access to your own vehicle.
