We are in search of a Learning Support Assistant eager to explore thrilling prospects. At Randstad, we are representing a mainstream primary school in the Bradford area. This is a full-time role with working hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent qualification)
Previous experience working in an educational setting (preferably in a primary or secondary school)
Experience supporting children with SEN, learning difficulties, or behavioural needs
Understanding of child development and learning processes
Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
Ability to provide 1:1 and small group support to students with diverse learning needs
Strong behaviour management skills and ability to maintain a positive learning environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents
Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to suit different learning styles
Basic understanding of literacy and numeracy interventions to support student progress
Patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships with children
Proactive, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Passionate about inclusive education and helping students succeed
Resilient, with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
A team player who can work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
Training in Read Write Inc., Phonics, or other literacy interventions (desirable)
Experience using EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans) to support SEN students (desirable)
Knowledge of Makaton, PECS, or other communication tools for students with additional needs (desirable)
Eligible to work in the UK without any restrictions (No Sponsorship).
Possess an Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get one through Randstad.

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
Support students' social, emotional, and academic development
Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work closely with SENCOs and teachers to implement individual learning plans
