Future Build Recruitment are currently working with a specialist Passive Fire Protection & Fire Doors Contractors who are currently on the look out for a Business Development Manager to join the business on a fully remote basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities for fire stopping and fire door solutions across sectors such as commercial, residential, healthcare, and industrial.
2. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed targets.
3. Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities through effective lead generation, client engagement, and follow-up.
4. Identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation to ensure the business stays competitive.
5. Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and industry professionals.
6. Provide expert advice to clients on fire stopping systems and fire door compliance, installation, and maintenance.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Strong knowledge of fire stopping systems, fire door installation, surveys, inspections and maintenance processes.
2. Proven track record of generating and converting leads into successful contracts.
3. Experience working with contractors, developers, facilities managers, and end-users.
4. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
5. Results-driven, with a proactive approach to achieving targets.
6. Ability to build and nurture professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
