Your role is to provide the strategic vision and leadership that will ensure that the company has the right products, prices and channels to deliver long term successful growth. The key responsibilities will be: Devise a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives Lead, mentor and motivate the sales and marketing teams Identify new business opportunities, markets and suppliers Improve cost price and trade price architecture Analyse market trends to inform decision making Represent the company at trade and media events Sales Director Candidate Profile: We are looking for a sales-led, high level strategic manager who will bring challenge, drive and inspiring leadership to a very well established business. Key requirements include: A home location in Wiltshire / Oxfordshire / Berkshire / Northamptonshire / Warwickshire. 10 years of experience in a sales leadership role in a garden accessories or garden machinery business. Demonstrable ability to devise and implement strategies that delivery growth. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers. Deep understanding of relevant distribution channels and market dynamics. An anlytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, analyse trends and make informed decisions. Salary/Benefits Information: A negotiable basic salary in the range of £80,000 - £100,000 plus annual performance based bonus, company car or car allowance, 25 days paid holiday, pension, healthcare and life assurance package.
