We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Band 5 Team Leader to join the Autism Outreach team, part of the Adult Learning Disabilities service on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.
This is a Band 5-level role open to either a Registered Nurse (RNLD / RMN / RNC / RGN), HCPC-registered AHP, registered Social Worker or Behaviour Technician.
The States of Guernsey Autism Hub is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built, eight bungalow complex with high-end assistive technology to meet the needs of the tenants.
Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system but has applied their own salary scale.
The Guernsey Band 5 salary range is £36,900 to £47,590 plus an annual bonus of £1,605 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH.
The island of Guernsey is in the Channel Islands and has a population of 65,000. It has some of the British Isles' finest and best-kept beaches, a mild and sunny climate, and an offbeat, historic harbor town in St. Peter's Port, the island's capital.
Person Requirements:
1. Registered Nurse or suitably experienced AHP, Social Worker or Registered Behaviour Technician with appropriate UK statutory registration as applicable.
2. Current or recent experience supporting people with a Learning Disability and/or Autism including newly or soon-to-qualify Learning Disabilities Nurses looking to start their post-registration career.
3. Current clean driving licence.
4. Personal Qualities to include; Reliability, Honesty, Patience, Resilience, Motivation and Leadership skills.
