The Role
We’re looking for a customer-obsessed, self-starting, creative and curious marketer to join the team at Total Fitness. We’re accelerating performance, activating our brands, increasing our share of voice, and developing outside of our core business.
Reporting to the Brand Development Director, the role is perfect for a well-rounded generalist who thrives in fast-paced environments. Someone happy to get hands-on, whilst being able to lead and influence internal and external teams.
Responsibilities:
* Drive brand awareness and consideration for all Total Fitness brands including Swim Academy, The Women’s Gym and our employer brand
* Devise strategies to increase salience using deep customer insight and brand metrics
* Manage brand campaigns across multiple channels and audiences
* Develop brand creative and content with internal and external talent
* Hold and foster a deep understanding of our brand and be its custodian, supporting all functions in their alignment with it
* Manage and optimize organic performance across earned and owned channels
* Manage and optimize our internal recording studio- The Workshop
* Devise communications strategies for both internal and external audiences
* Support on research and insight studies and communicate findings across all levels of the business
* Work with the Product Development Manager to ensure brand distinct touchpoints across the member journey
* Work with the Growth Marketing team to maximize performance
* Recruit and manage agencies to ensure they deliver the best possible value for budget (PR, Creative and Media)
* Manage marketing budgets with a keen focus on ROI
* Report performance to senior leadership
What you’ll give
* Several years of significant brand marketing experience with examples of proven success in creative and campaign performance across multiple channels
* Previous experience of fostering strong agency relationships (PR, Media and Creative)
* Proven success in brand building through customer insight resulting in perception shifts
* Familiarity with brand tracking metrics
* Familiar with various research methodologies
* Excellent leadership skills with line management experience
* An ambitious, curious mindset to seek, test, and review opportunities for increased success
* Resilience, self-belief and an agility to rise to any challenge
* A hands-on attitude and lover of fast-paced environments
* A track record of staying up to date with market trends and innovations
