About the Day Oncology Unit - Brighton:
Our Day Oncology Unit offers 20 chemotherapy chairs, providing patients with access to a range of treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care. There are also opportunities for nurse-led research and career advancement.
About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse in our Day Oncology Unit, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of patient care, from assessment and chemotherapy administration to patient education, follow-up, and referrals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
* Deliver care in alignment with Cabrini’s organisational goals and values.
* Maintain privacy, dignity, and confidentiality while addressing the needs of patients and their families.
* Work within the team to provide excellent care in accordance with Cabrini’s Mission and Values.
About You:
* At least 3 years of relevant experience in medical oncology/chemotherapy.
* Postgraduate qualifications in Oncology (or working towards) is highly desirable.
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Excellent time management, attention to detail, and efficiency.
* Strong commitment to quality patient care and outcomes.
* Enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.
