Medical Consultant Oncologist specialising in HPB and NET

Following a substantial investment into the service we have a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly department in the heart of beautiful Devon.
Applicants are invited to apply for a substantive Consultant position in Medical Oncology, with a special interest in NET and HPB to join our established Oncology team. This is a substantive post and is based on a full-time contract at the Royal Devon and University Hospital. The post holders should have a CCT in Medical Oncology or be within 6 months of CCT at the point of interview. This role will focus on delivering high-quality care to patients, contributing to multidisciplinary team efforts, and advancing clinical practice within our Oncology Department.

Royal Devon and University Hospital is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Our Oncology Department is at the forefront of cancer treatment and research, committed to innovative practices and compassionate care.
There are opportunities for teaching and research with Exeter Medical School and University, and a general interest in clinical research is desirable for all posts advertised as the post holder will be expected to recruit to the Trust NCRI and Commercial study portfolios. We are part of the Peninsula Clinical and Medical Oncology training programmes, as well as taking IMT trainees within the organisation.

Applicants must be registered medical practitioners and either be on the Specialist Register, or be within 6 months of completion of specialist training at the date of interview.
