Resident Maintenance Engineer, Grantham
This role involves working rotating 12 hours days and nights with excellent company benefits, including private health care and a company contributory pension scheme.
The Role – Resident Maintenance Engineer
We're looking for someone to undertake breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on various automated machinery, including cranes, conveyors, vertical lifts, monorail systems, and deep freeze high bays.
You'll work in a cold environment (-18 degrees) and be responsible for undertaking scheduled repairs according to manufacturers' recommendations and industry standard practices.
Prioritizing system faults and ensuring quality of output at all times is also key to this role.
Accurate recording of all work undertaken is essential, as is involvement in continuous improvement projects.
Compliance with Health & Safety legislation is paramount at all times.
The Person – Resident Maintenance Engineer
We're looking for an apprentice-trained Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or equivalent qualification holder.
Experience with automated machinery is ideal but not essential, as training will be provided. Happy to work at heights and communicating effectively at all levels is crucial for this customer-facing role.
Experience with a CMMS system is also desirable.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
