Job Summary
The HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment) and Sentinel Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, environmental, and railway-specific Sentinel scheme requirements.
This position is pivotal in supporting the organisation’s commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, and environmentally sustainable projects while ensuring the competency and compliance of rail personnel.
Experience Requirements
Essential:
• Internal Auditor qualifications (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification in health and safety.
• Experience with HSQE management systems and rail compliance schemes.
• Knowledge of the Sentinel scheme and Network Rail standards.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desirable:
• PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification or familiarity with rail environments.
• Experience with online Sentinel systems and databases.
• Knowledge of environmental management practices and sustainability principles.
