We are looking to appoint a Director for Project Management in Glasgow. This role will see you leading and supporting a team of passionate project managers. You will manage an exciting and varied workload, providing integral support to the wider Project Management discipline. This role offers you the opportunity to work across a variety of sectors including education, commercial office, retail, healthcare, blue light services, defence, local government, and utilities. In addition you will work closely with the leadership team in the region, looking to expand and build our presence further. Day to day responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the strategic objectives of the discipline and wider practice.
* Providing integral leadership to your team, and ensuring work is carried out to the required standard, quality and efficiency.
* Monitoring workload and resource, and assisting in the recruitment of new staff, aligning with our growth aspirations.
* Managing and maintaining business relationships with existing clients and develop new opportunities as appropriate.
* Driving and cascading a positive behavioral culture and promoting a supportive working environment.

Are you a seasoned Associate or Associate Director with a background in Project Management, operating within construction consultancy?, We are interested in speaking to passionate Project Managers with a construction consultancy background, who have the desire and capability to progress their career.,
* Experience in a similar role with a construction consultancy.
* A good understanding of forms of building contract (especially NEC3) and experience of contract administration.
* Knowledge of building technology and construction principles.
* Ability to control day to day programming and planning, monitor progress and expenditure of projects.
* Excellent leadership characteristics and people skills - ability to effectively communicate, understand and empathise with everyone you interact with.
* Excellent communication and client facing skills, combined with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
* Membership of a construction related professional body, such as CIOB or RICS - desirable.
* Project management related qualification (Prince2 or similar) - desirable
