Our growing clients in Crediton are on the hunt for a Baker’s Assistant in their large commercial bakery where they mass produce delicious cakes and tray-bakes that are sold across catering sites in the South.
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 3:30PM (Dependent on production schedules)
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Location: Crediton
* Weighing ingredients to supply to the Bakers.
* Moving and fetching items around the kitchen to assist.
* Preparing, portioning and mixing ingredients.
* Cleaning the preparation kitchen at the end of your shift.
Requirements for a Baker’s Assistant:
* You need to be good with numbers and able to read and calculate masses to weigh the correct ingredients.
* Our client is looking for someone who is able to be quick on their feet and have initiative within their role.
* The role is very physically demanding and so you must be able to regularly lift, carry and weigh out bags of ingredients up to 25kg.
