Job Description Manufacturing Engineer Are you an experienced production engineer with at least five years’ experience and a sharp understanding of the day to issues in manufacturing and the interface with engineering design? Do you have experience utilising Progress plus as well as an automotive, aerospace, motorsport or defence engineering background? Are you looking for an all-encompassing job, where you will build procedures for production in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail? If so, we are seeking a production/ manufacturing Engineers on permanent basis for a company that globally manufactures and supplies safety equipment to the defence and motor industry. Manufacturing Engineer Essential Skills / Experience: 4 years of relevant experience within manufacturing/ design engineering Strong experience in the manufacturing procedure writing Strong exposure with Progress plus or similar programmes Experience in engineering test (desired but not essential) Manufacturing Engineer Salary Package / Benefits: Competitive Annual Salary – £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE) Flexible working hours Great working environment Manufacturing Engineer The Role: You will construct detailed build procedures through detailed review of the discussion and design within the manufacturing process Design and manufacturing resolution You will use progress plus software to optimise software You will be a test engineer – running and scoping many tests, both external and inhouse.
