About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Stock Movement Supervisor to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless stock movement, optimizing warehouse operations, and maintaining a continuous production line, all while keeping customer satisfaction at the core of operations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), FCMS Handheld Terminals, Matflo Inventory Management System, Dash Reports, and Google Sheets. Strong leadership and cross-departmental communication skills are essential. The Stock Movement Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring stock availability, timely replenishment, and compliance with HR and safety regulations. This role also requires flexibility in stepping up to cover multiple operational areas or the Shift Manager role when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Movement Supervisor
✔ Lead with a customer-centric approach, ensuring stock movement aligns with business goals and customer expectations.
✔ Oversee and optimise stock movement to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely availability of products.
✔ Utilize WMS, FCMS, Matflo, and Dash Reports to monitor stock flow and maintain real-time data accuracy.
✔ Manage and troubleshoot automated warehouse systems, ensuring smooth operations with minimal downtime.
✔ Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely replenishment across four key operational areas: Meal Kit Lines, Cool Pouch Lines, Kitting, and the HelloFresh Market Mezzanine Floor. This includes managing stock movement from various sources such as the Dematic Meal Kit Shuttle, Ambient Storage, and other designated areas, ensuring FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) compliance, and maintaining seamless loading, unloading, and replenishment processes. Additionally, coordinate with warehouse and kitting teams to stage, consolidate, and replenish stock efficiently, supporting up to 18 kitting stations and multiple production lines with minimal disruptions.
✔ Maintain close communication over radio and Slack with Flow Control, Production, Warehouse, Inventory, and Quality teams.
Leadership & HR Compliance
✔ Foster a customer-first mindset within the team, emphasizing the impact of stock movement on customer satisfaction.
✔ Supervise, train, and motivate up to 50 staff members, including rack balancers and MHE staff, ensuring high engagement and productivity.
✔ Enforce HR policies, including attendance, workplace behavior, performance management, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with Shift Managers.
✔ Maintain a positive and compliant workplace culture, ensuring fair treatment and adherence to company policies.
✔ Support employee training and development programs to enhance skills and efficiency.
✔ Conduct regular performance evaluations and feedback sessions to drive continuous improvement.
✔ Step up as Shift Manager when required, covering multiple areas and leading broader operational teams.
Cross-Department Coordination & Compliance
✔ Work closely with Production, Logistics, Procurement, and Senior Management to ensure smooth coordination of stock movement and operational needs.
✔ Communicate regularly with Shift Managers, Health & Safety teams, and Compliance Officers to uphold workplace standards.
✔ Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, company protocols, and industry best practices in all stock handling and warehouse operations.
✔ Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in processes, efficiency, and team performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven background in warehouse supervision, stock movement, or logistics in a high-volume environment.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Strong understanding of how stock movement impacts customer satisfaction and the ability to align operations accordingly.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), FCMS Handheld Terminals, Matflo Inventory Management System, and Dash Reports .
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, enforce HR policies, and create a motivated, high-performing workforce .
- Inventory Expertise: In-depth understanding of inventory control processes, stock accuracy, and production support .
- Communication & Coordination: Strong ability to collaborate across departments, resolve operational issues, and optimize workflow.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for accuracy and efficient warehouse operations .
- Problem-Solving: A proactive and analytical approach to improving processes and troubleshooting challenges.
- Flexibility: Ability to oversee multiple operational areas and step up as Shift Manager when necessary .
