At Wonky, we rescue incredible surplus coffee and chocolate from going to waste, repack it, and ship it out for a fraction of the usual price. We're fighting food waste, shaking up the coffee and chocolate industries, and building a brand that offers high-quality, sustainable products at great value.
Now we’re looking for a Retail & B2B Sales Lead to take us to the next level. You’ll be our first dedicated sales hire — owning our growth into retail, wholesale, and other B2B channels. Think: supermarkets, independents, offices, foodservice and more.
What you’ll do
✅ Lead our B2B and retail sales strategy
✅ Win new business across supermarkets, wholesalers, cafés, co-working spaces and more
✅ Build relationships with buyers, distributors, and partners
✅ Work closely with our founders on pricing, margin, and commercial strategy
✅ Represent Wonky at trade shows and industry events
✅ Help shape the future of our sales team as we grow
We’re looking for someone who…
🏪 Knows how to pitch to retailers and secure listings
📈 Target-driven and commercially savvy
☕ Has experience in FMCG or food & drink sales
🤝 Is a natural relationship builder and confident negotiator
🌍 Cares about sustainability, food waste, and doing business the right way
🚀 Thrives in a fast-moving, startup environment
👟 Is hands-on, scrappy, and ready to build from the ground up
Bonus points if you’ve worked in coffee or beverages before!
