How you’ll support us on our mission to keep people safe and warm… RFI Management: Respond to assigned Requests for Information (RFIs) efficiently, ensuring priorities and deadlines are met. Search Criteria Development: Define and refine search criteria, ensuring accuracy and reusability for future investigations using various tool sets. Data Validation & Processing: Review raw data, transform it into evidential data, and develop new validation methods to enhance data quality, whilst monitoring and enhancing data quality. Analysis of Data Sets: Using a variety of toolsets, analyse range of datasets to provide insight and recommendations to stakeholders. Collaboration with IT Investigations: Work closely with the IT Investigation Manager to align data solutions with investigative goals. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to a backlog of improvements for data validation methods, ensuring processes are scalable and reusable. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain clear and accurate documentation for each RFI, including search proformas, action logs, and legal/audit documents. Cross-Functional Coordination: Build strong relationships and collaborate with IT Analytics & Insight teams and Data Information Teams to facilitate seamless data access and analysis, both inside the Investigations Team and where time allows outside. Data Storage & Security: Manage raw and evidential data storage, following strict protocols and maintaining a clear audit trail. Legal & Compliance Adherence: Ensure compliance with Legal Professional Privilege (LPP) protections where applicable. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with stakeholders both verbal and written, clearly articulating how raw and evidential data has been sourced and processed while providing expert insights. General IT Support: Assist the Investigation teams where required to build Teams and SharePoint areas, group mailboxes and general IT and Excel technical queries. Education Degree level education in a relevant subject (e.g. data science, mathematics, statistics, computer science) or demonstrable and relevant work experience to that level. Essential technical skills and job knowledge/experience Proven experience in managing complex, high-stakes data analysis across multiple business areas. Inquisitive and willing to look further into data results. Strong understanding of IT systems, data analysis, and digital forensics, with experience navigating large datasets. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to process, interpret, and present complex information clearly and factually. Meticulous attention to detail and a forensic mindset, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all investigative activities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven experience in good accurate administration of information using Microsoft Office Tools in particular strong Excel experience. Why SGN?
