We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Finance Manager to join our growing business in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a small, established team of accounts administrative staff and play a key role in shaping our financial operations.
The role:
As our Finance Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day financial management of the business, ensuring robust financial controls and processes are in place. You will be responsible for:
1. Managing and mentoring a small team of accounts admin staff
2. Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
3. Preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements
4. Ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
5. Cash flow management
6. Supervising monthly payroll processes
7. Working closely with senior management to support business growth
What we’re looking for:
1. Fully or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with relevant experience
2. Experience in a finance management role within an SME environment
3. Strong technical accounting knowledge and commercial awareness
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills
5. Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
What we offer:
1. Competitive salary of £45,000 - £52,000, dependent on experience
