This position will be joining our busy Linlithgow laboratory as a Customer Service Advisor in a fixed term one year contract. This is a full time role working 40 hours a week - Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm.
The main duties will include:
* Answering customer enquiries via telephone and email, providing information about services or products.
* Maintaining relationships with new and existing customers and making them feel valued by being the first point of contact.
* Having clear communication with other departments to ensure customer requests are met.
* Carrying out other functions in support of the company's activities as may be required.
* Compiling and verifying accurate information.
* Communicating with colleagues from other departments to ensure customer expectations are met.
* Dealing with queries from customers and those that may arise in relation to data entry.
* Complying with data integrity and company security policies.
* Performing backup of information.
* Complying with GDPR in relation to customer and company information.
Qualifications
* Experience with MS Office and data programmes.
* Customer service experience, preferably from laboratories or retail.
* Dealing with customer queries verbally, face to face, or over the phone.
* Problem-solving skills.
* Organisational skills.
* Able to work under pressure.
