Customer Account Manager – Engines
Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, is now recruiting for an additional Customer Account Manager to join our programmes team responsible for managing relationships with a portfolio of clients. This role will be based at our Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham site.

The Role:
As a Customer Account Manager, you’ll work within the Programme Team supporting the Value Stream Lead in managing a portfolio of customer relationships, maximizing customer satisfaction and delivering on sales plans. Acting as the product/platform expert within the business for designated product areas, you will build strong relationships with customers and actively participate in meetings and reviews.
Your role will support customer satisfaction through adherence to customer need dates where possible, and exceeding customer expectations. Internally, you’ll work cross-functionally to support and drive the execution of delivery to your assigned customer accounts, collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering disciplines to align actions towards intended outcomes. You'll manage all activities to execute the delivery of budgetary and performance-related requirements. You'll also work with the Revenue Management team and Programme Manager to coordinate product pricing, RFQs, and RFPs.

To be successful in this role, you’ll possess strong interpersonal skills and be adept at building relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal functions. You'll apply attention to detail and have a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
You'll have experience in roles where you've demonstrated sound business and financial acumen alongside relevant customer service experience. Experience in the aerospace or defence industry is advantageous but not essential, as well as knowledge of UK, EU, and US commercial and government contracting.
The role may require some travel.
