In our Intensive Supervised Structured Care service, we specialise in working with vulnerable young people aged 13 to 20, addressing their social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where young individuals can learn, grow, and thrive. By fostering confidence, self-esteem, and life skills, we aim to help them integrate into the community and feel a sense of belonging and care.
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team to provide top-notch, person-centred residential care following the GIRFEC framework. Your role involves empowering young individuals, ensuring their safety, and setting a high standard of care practice that aligns with our social values. How you'll help to create brighter futures
Some key responsibilities of the Residential Support Worker roles are:
* Providing lead case/care planning management, including assessing, reviewing and managing risk.
* Co-ordinating responsibilities within the service, with multi agency and producing family information, including analysis and written reports.
* Attending professional meetings including reviews, court work etc.
* Being a creative thinker and having a solution focused approach.
* Using your skills, knowledge, and experience to meet the ever-changing needs of the young people.
* Having a good understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable, care experienced young people.

Are you resilient and have a positive approach to change and challenge? We're looking for someone with a 'can do' attitude to join our team. Ideally you'll have:
* Demonstrable experience of working in a care setting and developing positive relationships through trust.
* The ability to adapt to challenging situations and make decisions under pressure.
* A knowledge of GIRFEC and outcomes-based models of practice and service delivery.
* Demonstrate a solution focused approach to address problems, individually and in a team setting.
* Demonstrate emotional resilience to respond to the challenging nature of the role.
* Possess a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or recognised equivalent) or if you do not possess this you must be prepared to complete this within 2 years of commencing employment with us, full support will be provided.
