About the Role
MARCH Engineering is seeking a SQL Project Integration Lead to support the standardisation and integration of SQL databases across the Group. This new role is key to our growth plans and will enhance financial reporting, data management, and business intelligence through Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
1. Integrate SQL databases across platforms and acquisitions
2. Standardise financial reporting and map Chart of Accounts across the group
3. Manage and govern Power BI as the primary reporting tool
4. Collate customer and project data to support Quality of Earnings KPIs
5. Assist in the preparation of monthly Group board packs
6. Work with Financial Controllers and Finance Directors to ensure consistent financial data
7. Support the integration of new businesses into the group
Additional Responsibilities
1. Assist with the IFS implementation lifecycle – customisations, reports, troubleshooting
2. Work with matrix teams to develop, deploy, and maintain systems
3. Provide technical support, resolve integration issues, and ensure data consistency
4. Support multiple functional areas, including Finance, Procurement, Projects, and HR
What You Bring
1. SQL Expertise – query writing, database creation/modification, PL/SQL proficiency
2. Advanced Excel Skills – VBA/macros
3. Power BI – experience in reporting and data visualisation
4. Strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with IFS Cloud
2. Experience in Crystal Reports and ETL data migration
3. Knowledge of SFTP integration solutions
