Job Description
Our client is a prestigious UK property developer with multiple projects around Central London area. They're looking for a Chinese speaker (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) with previous property sales experience, willing to work as a team, a natural relationship builder, to provide exceptional customer services to their clients from China and SEA.
Title: Business Development Manager China/SEA
Languages: Mandarin is essential, Cantonese is a plus
Location: South London in the corporate office (Fully onsite 5 days a week, 8 hours a day with lunch break, occasional weekend viewings and international travels 1-3 times a year)
Reporting to: Divisional Head of International Sales
Contract: Full time permanent
Visa requirement: The client will NOT be able to provide visa sponsorship. The successful candidates need to have an unrestricted visa without the need of sponsorship now or in the future.
Key Responsibilities
* Support line manager to manage and co-ordinate international sales activity and events across St Edward London in line with sales targets.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with all overseas centres, agents and stakeholders.
* Research the UK marketplace and use the data to sell above the competition.
* Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients internationally.
* Research and understand social/ economic drivers in key territories.
* When on International travel produce post event reports, inclusive of relevant quantitative and qualitative data alongside a summary of the subsequent steps.
* Be supportive, proactive and responsive to agent requirements and the wider international team.
* To anticipate and manage the threat of cancellation and minimise the cancellation rates.
* Effective agent briefing
* Business development and networking to establish agency agreements with new agents whilst ensuring our overseas offices are kept in the loop.
* When required attend planned overseas events supporting in the preparation of collateral and agent briefings.
* Assist with reviewing and processing Money Laundering Information.
* Assist the onsite sales team to complete reservation paperwork and due diligence for new reservations.
* Some weekend work may be required to support with appointments and events.
* Conduct in person viewings at the Sales and Marketing Suites with agents and potential buyers
* Conduct virtual viewings/presentations
* Distribution of price lists and relevant collateral to agents and buyers
* Distribution of Videos and WeChat notes/content
Requirements
* Fluent in Mandarin is a must, Cantonese is very beneficial
* Previous London property experience is highly preferred, 1-2 years would be great
* Exceptional customer service skills, fast learner, with positive attitude
* Result-driven, willing to go extra miles to succeed with the team
