Systems Support Engineer Overview: Take on a pivotal role supporting advanced systems and equipment. This position requires technical expertise, collaboration, and a customer-focused approach to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of critical technologies. Key Responsibilities: Fulfill in-service support commitments by collaborating with project teams, customers, and end-users. Respond proactively to technical issues, customer fault reports, and queries. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults remotely and on-site when required. Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analyses, and suggest improvements. Implement inspection and preventative maintenance programs. Ensure equipment remains safe and operational. Conduct defect investigations, surveys, and testing in collaboration with the field support team. Maintain Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation and process change requests. Identify resource conflicts and support engineering management in resolving them. Adhere to and promote engineering best practices for continuous improvement. Support obsolescence strategies for relevant product lines. Qualifications and Skills: Experience in any phase of the engineering lifecycle, with a preference for familiarity with technical equipment. Strong diagnostic skills for systems and equipment. Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and perform under challenging conditions. Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
