In connection with subsequent business expansion, Intellias is strengthening the capabilities in delivery leadership. We are looking for a seasoned manager to join us for the position of VP Delivery in Retail business (Head of Delivery Segment). The VP Delivery strategically drives operations with a clear focus on increasing the scale of business.
The primary focus of this role is to shape the delivery strategy for the areas of responsibility and directly contribute to the company's overall strategy. The role’s objectives are connected with top-level company goals and Delivery Segment business growth. Responsibilities include working closely with Intellias LT on shaping delivery strategy, supervising a large engineering organization, performance management, financial management, and contributing to sales, presales, and account growth.
This role will report to C-level (Chief Delivery Officer).
Requirements:
1. MSc or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or another engineering area; additional business education (e.g., MBA or similar) would be an advantage.
2. 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering and Outsourcing field, working in a well-established software outsourcing company (3000+ employees).
3. Experience in managing an engineering organization of 300+ people, with a proven record of results and achievements.
4. Strong program and portfolio management skills, Agile project management.
5. Deep level of expertise with modern software engineering technology, best practices, and trends; past experience working in a role of solution architect or similar is an advantage.
6. In-depth understanding of Retail business as well as its IT landscape and trends.
7. Visionary mindset, combining entrepreneurial skills with core management and leadership presence.
8. Profound experience with strategic planning and execution; “Getting things done” attitude, proactivity, and assertiveness in achieving goals; ready for an extra mile.
9. Profound understanding of large IT outsourcing company organization (governance, processes, org. structure, financial management, etc.).
10. Good understanding and experience with biz-dev (S&M, AM) in service business.
11. Strong competence in presale management.
12. Financial management skills, experience managing P&L for a large services organization.
13. Fluent level of written and spoken English.
14. Ready for frequent traveling.
