Job Description:
Greggs in SPAR - Customer Team Member / Bakery Assistant Machynlleth, Mid Wales.
Minimum 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
Various shifts available, some with 6:30am starts, some with 5:30pm finishes.
We are looking for a motivated, friendly, hands-on, and passionate Greggs in SPAR Customer Team Member / Bakery Assistant who is committed to providing excellent service and maintaining high standards. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will help maximize sales and profit by completing assigned tasks, contributing to the store's continuous improvement, and offering friendly, efficient service to customers, colleagues, and visitors.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
* Preparing hot and cold food for customers.
* Managing ovens when cooking hot food items.
* Understanding and explaining menu options to customers.
* Neatly wrapping and presenting food according to orders.
* Re-stocking sandwiches to ensure availability during shifts.
* Using the till to record orders, process payments, and give correct change.
* Following all Greggs and company operating procedures, policies, and standards.
* Adhering to food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during food storage, preparation, and service.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
* Previous experience in a similar role or industry preferred.
* Understanding of health and food safety legislation in a food environment.
* Ability to contribute ideas for delivering exceptional customer service and business growth.
