Working in the Finance Department responsible for the smooth administering of purchase ledger administration, duties to include:
• Obtaining/posting/reconciling expenses
• Processing all purchase ledger invoices and querying discrepancies
• Reconciling purchase ledger statements and requesting copy invoices where necessary
• Opening new supplier accounts
• Accurately inputting purchase orders, ensuring requisitions have been authorised prior to processing
• Creation of monthly supplier payment run
• Management of Travel System and authorisation of transactions
• Management of company motor fleet (fuel cards / TFL / MOT)
• Petty cash reconciliation
• Preparing reports in relation to purchase ledger and expenditure
• Processing of miscellaneous payment and Service timesheets, debit/credit card payments via Sagepay
• Scanning and filing relevant paperwork
• Providing cover to Finance team members and responsibilities as necessary
You will have:
• Previous Purchase Ledger experience
• Strong numeracy and organisational skills
• The ability to meet deadlines
• High attention to detail
• Payroll experience is desirable but not essential
