This role aims to: P rovide one-to-one advocacy support to adults accessing or in receipt of health and social care. S upport adults to express their wishes and feelings regarding their treatment and care. Support adults to develop skills to feel empowered to self-advocate Support the development of the service by providing awareness sessions to professionals. Role Description Provide short term support to a case load of clients. Support clients in meetings in different health and social care settings. Maintain accurate and appropriate records via our case management system. Make phone calls, write letters and send emails as part of your client work. Attend regular supervision with your advocacy mentor. Provide a commitment to attending relevant training. Provide awareness sessions about the advocacy service You will receive: Induction training. Safeguarding training. The offer of quarterly mentoring sessions with frequent welfare check.
