We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic full-time Dental Practice Manager to join our fabulous team working on a dual site basis at our practices in Beccles.
This is a full-time role and it is envisaged that the Practice Manager will be based at our Station Road Practice and regularly visit our nearby practice in Blyburgate. Due to the nature of the role, there will be the requirement to work some Saturdays with an alternative day off during the week.
We are a very busy group of mixed (Private and NHS) dental practices with a great team of dedicated dental professionals all striving to deliver excellent patient care. Our practices are fully modernised & computerised, with digital x-rays.
Both our Station Road and Blyburgate practices are within a short walk (5 Mins) from each other. There are local pay and display carparks located around both practices and the train station is a 2-minute walk from Station Road.
We are looking for someone that is cheerful, caring and efficient, a real team player with excellent communication and line management skills, together with dedication to the role.
The ideal candidate should have the following:
* At least 2 years of experience as a Dental Practice Manager or similar
* The ability to lead and motivate a team
* Excellent communication skills - oral & written
* Clinical experience (desirable) with the ability to liaise with Dentists/Therapists/Hygienists
* Excellent inter-personal and organisational skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Excellent decision-making skills
* Basic finance/budgeting experience
* Competent in Microsoft Office
The role will include, but not be limited to the following:
* Ensuring the smooth, efficient and compliant running of the practice as a whole
* Take responsibility for all cash transactions and end of day summaries
* Providing and maintaining an excellent service to patients, quality of service, cost and delivery of performance in accordance with the company strategy and defined targets
* Providing support and direction to enhance performance, skills and knowledge of practice staff
* You will coach, lead, develop and support the team
* You will plan & drive the income targets for the practice
* Monitor KPIs & support clinicians to achieve both NHS & private targets
* Maintain good communication within the practice, to include regular practice staff meetings
* Be able to manage conflict/difficult conversations & situations and deal promptly with issues/complaints when they arise
* Staff training/development for the practice team
