Assistant Project Manager
Salary: £28,800 - £37,425
Location: Cambridge, UK. Hybrid
Contract: Fixed Term (12 Months). Full time 35 hours per week

About The Role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will:

Support project initiation, planning, and monitoring.
*
Maintain project documentation, logs, and registers to ensure accuracy.
*
Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and tracking budgets.
*
Monitor resource allocation and facilitate contracts for project teams.
*
Ensure project risks, actions, and dependencies are managed effectively.
*
Assist in streamlining processes and driving continuous improvements.

About You
We're looking for someone who has:

Strong organisational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail
*
Ability to prioritise tasks, multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*
Experience working in a project environment with diverse teams
*
A proactive approach, confidence, and the ability to be flexible
*
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, plus A-levels (or equivalent)
*
A project management certification (Prince2, Agile, APMP) is desirable.
