They are now seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Manager to lead their residential care home in the heart of Derbyshire. Key Responsibilities
As the Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the management and performance of the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care in line with regulatory standards. Your typical duties will include:
* Leading, inspiring, and managing the care team to deliver outstanding care services.
* Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and maintaining high-quality standards.
* Creating and implementing care plans that promote the well-being and dignity of residents.
* Managing budgets, resources, and occupancy levels to achieve business goals.
* Overseeing staff recruitment, training, and development to build a motivated and skilled workforce.
* Establishing positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
* Continuously improving care practices and driving innovation in service delivery.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a compassionate, results-driven leader with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of residential care for the elderly. The ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent.
* Proven experience managing a residential care home, with a strong track record of achieving positive CQC outcomes.
* Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
* Sound knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and best practices in elderly care.
* Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
* A proactive and hands-on approach to management, with the ability to make key decisions under pressure.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire residents, families, and staff.
