We are currently looking for a Retail advisor to work alongside our Clearance team in Avonmouth. The role will work 5 days out of 6, Monday - Saturday.
Our Retail Advisors in our clearance section are an essential part of the department covering day-to-day tasks in a busy Clearance warehouse and shop environment. The main purpose of the role is to process and clear products ready for sale in the clearance store, as well as process orders for customers within the Clearance store and assist customers with their product queries.
Key Responsibilities
* Process stock deliveries in the clearance warehouse, including sorting and preparing products for sales by inspecting product quality, re-packing, labelling, and pricing items, following the established processing guidelines.
* Take accountability for replenishing the shop floor with processed items, ensuring that the store is fully stocked.
* Deliver first-class customer service in line with Nisbets expectations.
* Process basic customer payment transactions whilst adhering to policy.
* Be accountable for adhering to all H&S policies and operational policies.
* Take ownership of contributing to sales targets and KPIs including revenue, margin, and stock processing.
Capabilities, Skills and Experience Required
* Manual handling and lifting heavy items.
* Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
* Ability to work in a busy environment with varying temperatures.
* High level of flexibility.
* Basic numeracy, literacy & IT skills.
* Great verbal and written communication.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Previous experience in a warehouse/retail or hospitality environment is preferred.
* Familiarity with catering equipment is an advantage.
* Familiarity with Maginus management systems is preferred.
