Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our specialist Pelvic Health Service at Wirral Community Foundation NHS Trust. You must possess a physiotherapy degree or recognised equivalent qualification and be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council. You must also possess excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and have the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with GP's and other healthcare professionals. Good IT skills are essential as the role requires working across a range of clinical systems. The successful applicant will have access to formal and informal training and gain skills in assessing and treating a wide range of complex Pelvic Health conditions including urinary dysfunction, bowel dysfunction, chronic pelvic pain and colorectal conditions. Main duties of the job The Pelvic Health service is provided from two community clinics and enjoys close links with our local acute trust. As well as one to one sessions, we deliver group sessions and outreach into the community with a focus on awareness and prevention. The successful applicant will be expected to work closely with our partners in the acute trust as well as other stakeholders to promote the service and improve outcomes for the patients we serve. You will join our small team of supportive and passionate Pelvic Health physiotherapists which sits within a larger musculoskeletal team - sharing resources and training days. Specialist training can be provided however a demonstrable interest and some prior knowledge of pelvic health conditions are essential. The role would suit an individual keen to specialise in Pelvic Health and take on a structured role with daily clinics, delivering classes and maintaining connections with the amazing community of women on the Wirral. The beautiful Wirral peninsula sits between Merseyside and North Wales and has excellent transport links to North Wales, Liverpool, Manchester, as well as the historic city of Chester.
