We are seeking experienced Support Workers to work within their lovely Care Home supporting their regular care staff in providing a high standard of care. This care home has the facilities for 5 residents and specialises in supporting individuals with moderate Learning Difficulties and Complex needs and their main aim is to promotes independent living skills on a medium to long term basis.
As an experienced Support Worker, it is desirable that you have experience of dealing with clients with Complex Learning Difficulties. You will be assisting them in their activities of daily living to stimulate and improve their quality of life. You will be required to work on a one-to-one basis with specific residents and will take part in activities outside of the home itself with the support from the established team of Carers.
As an Experienced Support Worker, you will be expected to work alongside the established team of Carers in providing a complex care package tailored to individual needs. We require our Support Workers to have sound qualifications in Health and Social Care with all your relevant mandatory training being relevant and up to date. This role is both physically and mentally demanding so you must have relevant care experience.
To be suitable for this position you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the update service
- A practical Moving and Handling Certificate dated within the past 6 months
- Up to date mandatory training certificates
- A Referenceable work history
- A NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care
- At least 6 months experience within a similar setting

Your working hours will be 09:00 to 15:30
The rate of pay is £12.07 per hour.
