We are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer to work as part of a team delivering applications support and development services to our customers either directly to users of the applications or to service delivery functions. Your role will involve Application and system support and enhancements of critical software applications in an Agile DevOps team. Your experience • DevOps/Support experience in applications. • 2nd/ 3rd line support, with both customers and Vendors • Problem management and investigations, leading on HPIs • Reading code and enhancing/fixing bugs • Identifying and delivering service improvements including automation • Experience in release management • Experience of certificate management • Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues Technical Skills • Cloud Application support • Linux • Messaging systems - Event streaming • Database syntax • Scripting languages • CI/CD pipeline deployments
