Our international client is currently searching for a Semiconductor Photonics Yield Improvement Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving yield-related issues in our photonics manufacturing processes. This role requires a deep understanding of III-V semiconductor photonics device physics and manufacturing process, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. The role will involve yield analysis and performing detailed analysis of production data to identify yield detractors and implement corrective actions. Required skills for the Semiconductor Photonics Yield Engineer will include: Experience working with Manufacturing in such areas as: III V Photonic Devices, optical semiconductor devices, Laser, etc. Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC), and 6 sigma concepts for process development Demonstrated failure mode analysis, root cause investigation, and problem solving for product yield and quality Excellent communication skills PhD Degree in Physics, Optics, or related field (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Material Science) Please contact Rachel Anderson for further details.
