What skills and experience we're looking for
The headteacher of Shoeburyness High School and the CEO of Southend East Community Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a Home School Liaison Officer.
This post is integral to the safeguarding and support of students across all key stages. The role will involve 1-2-1 mentoring, home visits, liaison with multiple external agencies, the creation, organisation and implementation of short term intervention programmes and support of students who have demonstrated high tariff negative behaviours to aid them in being successful during their school career.
It is essential that the appointed applicant has minimum GCSE Grade 4 and above or equivalent in Maths and English. As multiple home visits are a part of the role, the ideal candidate should hold a full driving licence and has access to a vehicle for business use.
What the school offers its staff

We ‘Expect Excellence’ in all aspects of our school and this is our guiding principle to ensure that our school community thrives.
