Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum
Job Responsibilities:
* Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with the hotel's menu standards.
* Assist in the planning and preparation of daily specials and menus.
* Ensure consistency and quality of food production, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff, providing training and support as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and storage areas, ensuring all areas comply with food safety standards.
* Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stock control of ingredients.
* Contribute to creating a positive and productive working environment by cooperating with all kitchen team members.
* Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.
Essential Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role within a professional kitchen environment.
* Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen best practices.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Desired Experience:
* Experience in a hotel or fine dining establishment is preferred.
* Experience in leading and mentoring a team of kitchen staff.
* Knowledge of dietary restrictions and the ability to accommodate them effectively.
